Special requirements for Minnesota employers submitting OSHA records online

In their July, 2018 edition of “Safety Lines” (see page 3),  Minnesota OSHA clarified state-specific requirements for submitting OSHA injury and illness data online.

While the Federal version of the rule applies to all establishments with more than 249 employees, and employers in high hazard industries with 20 or more employees, Minnesota has opted to apply the rule to ALL establishments with 20 or more employees, regardless of industry type.

If you have questions about this, or any other OSHA compliance topics, please call Sotera Consulting, LLC at (612)597-6463 or email [email protected].
